ABOUT

Into the Stillness
A Calm Sky
Connected Stillness
KUON sees prayer and everyday living as part of one quiet moment. The sound of orin-bell, the gentle movement of flame, subtle fragrance, and flowers quietly accompanying the space. These elements release the senses from the noise of everyday life and guide them gently toward stillness.
The phrase “Connected Stillness” holds many layers of meaning — connection with those who have passed, connection with oneself, connection with what truly matters, and connection with the present moment itself. Rather than making strong statements, KUON values the lingering resonance and quiet relationships that naturally arise within stillness.
“Into the Stillness” serves as an invitation into this quiet transition.

About Yotsukawa Seisakusho
Located in Kanaya-machi, Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture—the birthplace of the Takaoka casting industry—Yotsukawa Seisakusho is a manufacturer of artistic copperware that has been passed down for generations. Since our founding, we have embraced the name "Kisen," embodying our desire to bring joy and enrichment into people's lives. This spirit continues to infuse each piece we create. Today, our work spans three brands: "Kisendo," which offers traditional Takaoka copperware such as incense burners and vases; the lifestyle brand "KISEN," specializing in tableware and interior pieces; and "KUON," an interior brand devoted to inner peace and mindful living. With deep knowledge of Takaoka’s specialized division-of-labor production, we collaborate closely with each artisan and factory to develop products that harmonize traditional techniques and soft, contemporary design ideas.
